Check out this awesome gift idea that you can stitch, from the talented husband and wife stitching team over at WeeLittleStitches. On their site they show you how to make a really cool, customized cell phone case two ways.
The first method is to work a cross stitch design (check out these freebies for inspiration) using your favorite embroidery thread directly onto the cell phone case if it has a gridded backing.
The second method is to stitch on aida fabric or plastic canvas (you could also use perforated paper) and then cut and fit the fabric to fit a clear cell phone case.
The easy-to-follow tutorial will walk you through the entire process.
Any cross stitch pattern that will fit the space can be used for a project like this, and the finished results would make a unique gift for the upcoming holidays.
