Stitch a Pink Needle Clutch

Friday, October 8, 2010

Here’s a sweet little bonus pattern for our Stitch Pink projects, designed by Sharon Jankowicz and Kristin Jankowicz-Schrock.

This pretty, felt clutch was designed to hold items from the Stitch Pink kit. I love the heart-shaped pocket, perfect for storing the pink scissors!

The clutch has plenty of room for your pink bobbins, needle threader and your stitching notions.

The clutch is worked in basic embroidery stitches, including back stitch and blanket stitch, using DMC Needlework Threads

It’s not too late to stitch your blocks for the auction quilt – or to purchase your Stitch Pink kit at JoAnne stores, or online in the DMC store.

I have recently gotten back into needle work and signed up on your blog. It is really great. I saw this needle clutch and printed the instructions to make it but I noticed an error. There is no pattern for the wings. Did i miss it somewhere? Please advise. Thank you.

I don’t see the wings on the pattern either – Will check on this and get back to you ASAP. ~Emma

I was looking at the needle clutch as a project for a friend and I think some of the directions are missing. The wings pattern is missing as well as finishing — attaching the front and back together.

This was supposed to have been fixed last year. I will check on this. Thanks for letting me know!
