Here’s a pretty Hanukkah pattern that you can stitch and finish as an ornament – or add a pin back and wear as a brooch!
The design is stitched on DMC 14-count Metallic Aida for extra sparkle! You can find the free pattern here.
The design is worked using a skein each of DMC Embroidery Floss in colors 809 and 311, and a skein of DMC Light Effects, Precious Metals Effects color #E677. The Memory Thread star is couched in place with a single strand of floss after the cross stitching has been completed.

re: metallic & printed Aida – do these come in counts smaller than 14ct?? Also, are they available as evenweave as well??
Hi Marian, The DMC Brand is available only in 14 count in either gold or silver metallic, as is our CharlesCraft StarDust brand. Thanks for asking.
