Menu
Every party deserves a special menu!
I recommend half sandwiches (since we’re talking halves, why not halve all the way?) such as classic cucumber sandwiches. Just spread softened butter on the bread and top with thin slices of cucumber seasoned with salt and pepper. Add smoked salmon or smoked halibut to make them even tastier.
You may also want to serve some delightfully tasty pear and stilton sandwiches, or an old favorite – egg salad sandwiches. Cut in half diagonally, of course.
For dessert, serve a batch of Old Fashioned Cupcakes, such as the ones shown below, created by The Food Network’s Cheryl Day. Click here for the recipe for these yummy treats.

Pressed for time, or not fond of kitchen duty? The Food Network’s Sandra Lee has you covered with time-saving recipes such as this one for pretty petit fours.

If you don’t have time to cook, check with your local bakeries and gourmet food store for fabulous tea-time treats.
Enjoy!
