More Memory Thread Magic!

Designers have been creating some amazing projects using DMC Color Infusions Memory Thread, and two of them are featured in the March 2012 issue of Cross Stitch & Needlework Magazine.
On the cover you’ll find The View, a flower-filled tower featuring Memory Thread accenting a blazing sun and a perky yellow tree.
This pattern by designers Lynda Watkins and Angie Williams of Fresh Threads Studio is the first in a 4-part series, and can be found on page 34.
Over on page 12 you’ll find Alice Okon’s pretty Gather Hearts project, featuring hearts bursting with spring color and anchored with Memory Thread stems and band.
The design in stitched in DMC Embroidery Floss, and the Memory Thread is couched to the surface after the stitching has been completed.
The issue is currently on news stands, and stitching either of these fresh, spring projects would brighten any rainy day!

I started Gather Hearts last night – it’s a lovely project and it’s stitching up quickly. I’m looking forward to trying out the memory thread!
