Glow in the Dark Embroidery

How many of you have had a chance to try our Glow in the Dark embroidery floss? You can find it as part of our Light Effects collection, E940 and the Light Effects Fluorescent Colors Pack. One of the main challenges of crafting with this wonderful thread is photographing your awesome results, which can be tricky…

Glow in the Dark embroidery, on WhipUp

So I was excited to find and share this wonderfully photographed tutorial on WhipUp (above), contributed by guest blogger Devon from Miss Make. She offers a free pattern so that you can create a hidden message of your own. It’s the perfect way to break the nerdy news that you heart someone!

I also stumbled on this adorable example of our Glow in the Dark thread, all stitched up by Flickr user anddav87. The adorable pattern is from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, by the way.

Also adorable are these stitched skulls, found on the adorable blog Inspector Ganxet. Apparently, she stitched these skulls after attending a Magic Needle workshop:

Have you stitched anything in our magical, Glow in the Dark threads? You know what I’m gonna say – we’d love to see it!
