Emma’s Garden Party – F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S FlOSSY FLOWERS!

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Hello Friends!

Welcome back to my Garden Party. I have a really fun project give-away today….

Floss Flowers!

These are soo pretty when you make them in all different colors! Try making a bunch, they’re super easy. I made these over the weekend for my friends house warming party and they were a huge hit! I arranged the flossy flowers in a small terracotta pot and tucked in some home made cookies – my friend was very appreciative.

Oh and by the way…there is a flower called the “floss flower” also known as Ageratum Houstonianum. See how the petals look a bit stringy?

I rounded up some more fun FLOSSY flowers for you….enjoy!

The floss flowers are a great idea!!! I do similar flowers with tissue paper but it had never thought about trying with floss. Fantastic!!

I was looking for the flower instructions of the marigold and mum. I have the carnations, pansies and chrysanthemums as well as the carnation. I would be happy to share if you have the marigold and mum.
