DMC Memorial Day Street Fair
Saturday, May 29, 2010Hello Everyone-
Welcome to the DMC Memorial Day Street Fair! DMC supports handmade and the needlework arts, of course, so we wanted to feature some of our favorite designers from Etsy that create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. Oh and they all use DMC Embroidery Floss for their handmade creations, what a coincidence right?

Our first Etsy designer is named IIdiko Grisanti and her shop is called “All Stitches.” IIdiko loves everything needlework- and makes some very cute patterns for sale. She does custom orders also.

Remember those old school friendship bracelets you used to make at summer camp? Well JDStar makes them super cool and super trendy! I love how she uses jewelry clasps and findings to dress up these bracelets into an awesome accessory piece.

Grace, a California girl, has some of the cutest Japanese inspired cross stitch designs. Wabi sabi, as Grace explains it, is a Japanese aesthetic, it’s about finding beauty in imperfect objects, accepting its flaws and the wears and tears of time. Visit her shop to check out her beautiful pieces of transformed every day objects.
