How to make a cross stitch embellished tablecloth:
Materials:
DMC 117 Cotton Embroidery Floss 156, 158, 164, 505, 728, 726, 745, 927, Blanc
Blank white tablecloth made of cross-stitch fabric (for this pattern the ideal sized tablecloth is 47″ x 47″)
DMC Tapestry Needle size 26
Step 1 – Iron your tablecloth.
Step 2 – Find the middle of your tablecloth. Fold your tablecloth in half vertically and horizontally, where the creases meet is the middle point.
Step 3 – With masking tape plan out a middle square where you want the design to go. This design measures 15″ x 15″.
Step 4 – Follow the provided charts and stitch your design. Iron your finished piece when done.
Now go and enjoy the wonderful holiday day with family and friends!
Happy Stitching.
