Half Cross Stitch is catching on and saving time!

Were back with more fabulous half cross stitch patterns and ideas so you can create more stitched fun in half the time of full Cross Stitch!

Check out the DMC Learning Center on half cross stitch, for more information on this speedy technique. Here I’ll show you how to stitch the half cross stitch with my instructions and stitch diagrams.

Prefer cross stitch with back-stitched outlines? No problem – we’ve got you covered, as both techniques are covered in these patterns. Get project directions for these sweet dessert designs by clicking on the photos.

Four times the fun and guaranteed to contain zero calories!

We also have NEW half cross stitch designs coming soon!

I’d also like to share a great way to cut skeins of DMC Pearl Cotton. This technique ensures the perfect length of thread every time, and keeps your thread tidy.

Everyone loves a mentor!

Share the half cross stitch technique. Download the Half Cross Stitch Brochure print it out and share it – or teach it your friends.

Stitch the designs onto tote bags, aprons, pot holders, book covers or anything else you can dream up.

With DMC’s newest addition to the DMC Learning Center, the half cross stitch technique made stitching a little sweeter…

Happy Stitching!

~ Emma

“Half Cross Stitch is catching on and saving time.”
I don’t understand why the DMC Company would promote “saving time” when cross stitching. The point of cross stitching is to enjoy the time spent, not hurry up and finish. DMC must think that using this tecnique is a new/novel technique. It is nothing new.

    Hi Mary,

We like to provide a little something for everybody, regardless of the time they may have available to stitch.

No, it’s not a “new” technique, nor do we tout it as such – but we are providing new patterns with a bit of a twist (which will be posted shortly). Of course, they can also be stitched in full cross stitch, if the stitcher prefers.

Suis-je la seule à télécharger deux fois le White Ice Cream Cone et pas de White Ice Cream Sundae?

Merci malgré tout pour ces trois grilles “rafraîchissantes”.
