Crochet a Lucky Garland!

Friday, March 9, 2012

Check out this adorable crochet garland made by Cindy from the Skip To My Lou blog site.

It’s so easy to work, that you could have miles of garland worked up in almost no time!

The pattern works with and crochet thread and embroidery thread.

I’m going to stitch it using DMC Pearl Cotton Variations in color 4047 Emeral Isle – one of the NEW colors, featuring beautiful, assorted shades of green, perfect for working shamrocks and four-leaf clovers in crochet, embroidery and needlepoint.

I’m going to use the garland of small clovers to trim gift bags for St. Patrick’s Day.  Thanks for the inspiration, Cindy!

Hello, Emma – I am looking for ideas on what to do with about 1000 yards of 3-ply DMC wool yarn that I have left over from a previous project. It is a neutral color. Since it is wool and we are in winter I would prefer crocheting some sort of garment or accessory to keep me warm. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The yearn is divisible, so I could conceivably use one or two or three strands at a time. Thanks
