CHA Winter Show 2010
Monday, January 25, 2010GOT THREAD?
Emma Broidery here, reporting from inside the CHA Winter Show in Anaheim California. The DMC booth has been bustling with activity and I have been busy meeting people from the industry, and talking needlework. I am already full of ideas on how DMC can continue to grow the category of needlework, and ensure the generations of committed stitchers. I talked about the Mentor Program to a lot of people, they all were very responsive and interested in participating in this exciting program to help educate the younger demographic the wonderful world of needleart. Designers stopped by to show us their works of art done with our thread. One woman in particular, Georgette Jenkins, came by to show us her latest creation done in our Color Infusion Sparkler Thread. Used with paper crafting the Color Infusion line has so many possibilities. I had to take pictures of Georgette’s work to show you! Later I saw Georgette at the DMC class, “Embellish a Floral Cosmetic Bag.”

Georgette Jenkins stitched with our Color Infusion Sparklers Thread in beautiful geometric patterns on white card stock

The Color Infusions line was a big hit. Everyone admired the paper craft cards designed with the threads.
Well there’s the scoop on DMC’s booth. Stay tuned for a full report on the CHA exhibitors that you wont want to miss! In the meantime if you are in Anaheim, come to the CHA Show and visit the DMC booth#2009.
Until then,
Happy Stitching
