More of Carina’s Colorful Designs

Thursday, June 30, 2011

Back in my TNNA Blog, I showed you some awesome embroidery designs that were featured in our booth.

The designs were created by Carina Envoldsen-Harris, a UK-based embroidery pattern designer and craft blogger.

Carina designs colorful, free form embroidery designs inspired by folk art and design of her native Denmark.

The patterns featured are available on her Polka Dot & Bloom site, if  you’d like to stitch them too!

Carina’s designs use bright, colorful colors of DMC Pearl Cotton #5 and embroidery threads that remind me of candy and lucious fruits, like the colors shown here.

If an embroidered design can be considered delicious, hers certainly qualify!

You can also find some of her delightful free patterns on her blog.

Thanks for the inspiration, Carina!
