Every week, I wonder, will this be the week the internet runs out of creative things to do with embroidery floss?

Bookbinding with DMC Floss on Chris and PaigeAnd every week, the resounding answer is: NOT THIS WEEK.

Case in point is this gorgeous Handmade Book Binding, bound with DMC Floss on the lovely blog Chris and Paige.

I love the colors she’s chosen, and the wonderful way they contrast with the pale wooden boards.

How-To: Embroidered Postcards on EtsyI’m also loving this creative and adorable How-To: Embroidered Postcards on Etsy. The supplies and process photos in this tutorial are clear, bright, and delightful.

This is such a fun way to add a whimsical and silly touch to old postcards or old photos.

I would love to print out a few copies of family photos or my favorite friend pics on Instagram and embellish with sequins and bits of floss!

I’m in love with the inspired palette Kaley has chosen!

Dressform Thread Holders on Minted StrawberryThese Dressform Thread Holders on Minted Strawberry are such a charming way to store your floss finds. They’d also be a gorgeous adornment for a party centerpiece, or hung in a row, as a garland.

I’d use them for my bits of extra floss, or as an inspiring way to feature all the colors in a cross stitch or freeform embroidery piece.
